Another Mirl (Met in Real Life)

This Internet/blog world is a wonderful place. I have met so many wonderful people through it. One of those people is Rhonda whose blog is Because Mom Said So. She knew that we were traveling up North this summer and graciously opened her home to our family of six as a stopping point on our way to Washington D.C.

It does not happen very often when a complete stranger opens their home up to a large family traveling through. She and I had talked via email and have left comments on each others blogs for some time. She and Busy Dad had even "met" via comments. I felt like I knew her family and she knew ours.

We were not disappointed. The hospitality was exceptional.( I told her I was going to post about all of her cereal!! My kids get one choice and that's it.....look at the spread of cereal at her house!!)

The kids all had a blast meeting her children. Hayden and Eli hit it off immediately. In fact Hayden asked when we were coming back.

Thanks Rhonda and Peter for opening your home to the Wilson-Six!!!

Oh My Goodness....

THANK YOUUUUUU.

We had the best time ever. Your family is always welcome here. My kids thought you were cousins as they actually have cousins they have never met. (Sad, I know...but true)

So, we will just keep on letting Elijah think he actually has cousins his age.

Ahhh... life is good.

Rhonda and Peter and the whole family,

It was great to meet in real life. The guy version of the visit was lots of fun.

The boys went to see baseball practice and hung out on the outfield fence to watch a game and a practice.

Once at home we grilled out and had a great time meeting each other.

Then we watch the home run competition for the All-Star game from Yankee stadium.

We had a great time, with wonderful people. We hope to see them out in the middle of the country sometime.

My son wants his Connecticut brother/cousin to come visit.
