Easter Craft

I know its still February but thought I would share this super easy craft that you can make for teacher gifts, neighbor gifts or for your own children Supplies you will need:
* Mod Podge- I got mine at Wal-mart
* Metal pails-Target dollar section
* Scrapbook paper- I used Amy Butler paper that I found at Michael's
* scissors, foam paint brush
* Cellophane bags to package your pail- Hobby Lobby has a bunch of sizes

I printed out letters that I typed in the computer. I like using lowercase letters. The "k" pictured below was enlarged to 300 and I used the font arial. I cut it out and used it as a template on the Amy Butler paper.

After you cut out your letter dip your foam brush in the Mod Podge and coat the back of the letter. Then place it on your bucket/pail. It tends to slide around so just kind of get in the place you want and press the air bubbles out. Then coat the whole letter in the Mod Podge. Let it dry and you are done!I filled mine with pink tissue paper and put a small treat in it. Some cute treats that you could fill it with: jelly beans in a bag. The Dollar Tree in my town had small individual bags of Jelly Belly's that would fit great in this pail.

This "K" Pail was mailed out on Wed to one of my favorite bloggers!! I hope she likes it!!

My Aloha Question of the Week is.......

Do you make crafty things for all the holiday's

and give them out to people?

Darling pails! I DON'T make crafts and give them to people - well, rarely. Only because I don't think I'm that good at crafts. But I think I just need to take the time to do it! Thanks for sharing this - okay, since I have some time before Easter is here, I just might tackle this one. :-)

We do easy and simple crafts for the parents and grandparents for birthdays, anniversaries and holidays, but that is about it.

I make crafty things for the holidays for my family...things meant for decorating and cheering or warming up the home. Like table cloths, place mats, napkins, a center piece, etc...

Thank you so much for the good mail I received today...love love the note cards! Very sweet of you and so appreciated!

Yes, I KINDA do crafty things, kinda. I do give out treat bags, cupcakes, goodies to family, friends, neighbors, etc. for just about all of the holidays. I'm finding myself sending all kinds of "good mail" to my daughter and her friends and they are in college. Fun!

The pails are adorable. Just might have to try them out myself!

I go in spurts. Sometimes I am crafty, and others I just buy things. I think it depends on how much time I have at home and how early I start thinking about it.

Those are just lovely and easy to make. I do not have a daughter but I think that would be a great giveaway of my son to his classmates this easter. For the boys I will just have to use blue or green color. Lovely.

I usually have intentions on doing that but I never seem to get around to it.

Love this idea. Wish I had time this year to do this. Next year, it will definitely be on my spring time to do list!

I envy you! I'm certain that you have no more free time than I do, but you obviously have a greater attention span! What a cute idea.

Since you're so creative, I could use an idea for a very inexpensive, gender neutral (or at least easily modifiable for boys or girls) craft/gift. Oh, it has to be easy. And did I mention inexpensive? I teach 6th grade religion and would like to make a little gift for each of my 19 students. Any suggestions? I browsed your Etsy shop ... it looks great. Feel free to comment on my blog or email me.

I hopped over from Tip Junkie! I'm Jennifer, a mom of 4 too and your name caught my eye! Hey, these pails are cute and look to be at my skill level! Thanks for the great idea!

This was a great idea. I'd always wondered what to use to make the scrapbook paper stick to pails, normally it goes all wrinkly. I loved your idea and gave it a go today :)
