I am reading Jade Island by Elizabeth Lowell this week.

Katherine (13) just started the Twilight Series (Have your read this yet? I am going to read it after she finishes it.)

Rebecca (10) just started Swindle by Gordan Korman

Hayden (8) just started The Found by Margaret Peterson

What are you reading this week? or Did you read something good last week? Let me know in the comments!

Right now I'm reading The Goose Girl. I have read all the Twilight books, loved them! You might want to read the last one before your daughter. But then that would mean you would have to read the others before you read Breaking Dawn, but they are very reads.

I guess I'm going to have to try the Twilight series since so many people are talking about it! Hate to feel like I'm missing out on something:) I just finished Fourplay by Jane Moore. I just happened upon it at the library and thought I'd give it a try. I ended up liking it. I'd call it a British chick-lit book. My eight year old is reading The Doll People and The Meanest Doll in the World. I haven't checked it out to see what's so great about it but she claims they are now her all time favorites. I think there's a new one coming out this week. My five year old isn't reading yet but will flip through ANY & every book for hours!

Hey thanks, I love my little boy so much and I just want him to be happy and healthy and maybe to give me some sleep at night too.
It is always nice to hear from other people who have been there and survived,it keeps me going!

I just finished Breaking Dawn last week, after reading the 4th book I like the series even better. 2 & 3 were a little harder for me to read, the first half seemed to drag on. Like I said though, reading the last book really made the series for me!

I just finished the 1st Sookie Stackhouse book by Charlaine Harris. It was ok, but not one of my favorites.

I'm working on reading books for the RIP III Challenge, most are faerie related.

I just finished the book A thousand Splendid Suns and need to find another book to keep my eyes, mind, and hands busy! Maybe I will take your suggestion. I am not big on Twilight anything.

My current book is The Fourth War by Chris Stewart. It is about the start of a 4th World War. It is spooky how real it is. It all starts in Afganastan, Pakistan, and Isreal. Amy recommended it.
