Aloha Friday

Happy First Day of Spring!!

Come visit my Spring giveaway !!!

So my question today is.....

What does the Easter bunny put in your kids baskets?

Usually our baskets have a chocolate bunny, filled Easter eggs and either a new toy/DVD or clothes (if you are a 12 year old girl) We try and have an egg hunt in the backyard if the weather is ok.

It changes a bit every year. This year I'm trying to stay away from the little cheap toys and the candy, so the Easter bunny is bringing fun outdoor toys like bubbles and buckets, a stuffed bunny for each girl and some hair accessories. And just a little bit of candy. :)

The Easter bunny puts in all sorts of things that Mom doesn't especially care for. Trust me, it's safer that way. ;-) Jelly beans, Starburst, Skittles, a couple of chocolate bunnies (because Mom prefers dark chocolate, the bunnies are safe). And a couple of gifts.

Bubbles, buckets & shovels...that type of stuff and then a small amount of candy.
With 9 kids, a small amount is never really a small amount. LOL

my big thing is the container; i always try to get a container they can use later on for something. i was not inspired this year by anything, so i bought these cute tote bags and filled them with the Easter goodies. That being whole bags of bubble gum, a tad of candy (i am so tired of having candy around and the sugar sends little man over the edge!), chalk, a new crayola book, bunny marshmellows, movies i found for $1, puzzle, stuff like that!
