Blahhhhhhh???

Do you get the January Blahs? After all the excitement of Christmas and traveling I arrive back here in Missouri with the January Blahs!!
Its hard to get motivated to get the house back in order, the piles of laundry, all the old paperwork that has collected on my desk.

I am getting ready for Rebecca's birthday. She will turn ten on Feb 2. The big event in our house is when you turn ten you get your ears pierced. She can't wait!

So my question on this Aloha Friday is.....

Do you get the blahs after Christmas and if so what do you do to get out of them. If you don't get them then what suggestions do you have for all the rest of us?

Ya'll have a great weekend. We have basketball games, a birthday to plan, and our dear friend Ben is arriving home from Iraq for a two week leave. We can't wait to see him!

I guess I'm lucky because I didn't get the January Blaaas. For me, January is the start of a new month and holiday clean up. I've also been totally distracted because of some health problems. After 1 1/2 months of pain I'm having surgery next week. It's kind of monopolized my thoughts. Of course I don't recommend this kind of distraction to nip the January Blaaas! :)

Nope, we celebrate Christmas all year long with presents (gift wrapped in Christmas paper) and kind deeds. Then we stop celebrating in December and just go to everyone else's parties. Works out real nice.

During Christmas, we are so busy running around trying to cram all the festivities in. I'm so glad when it's all over. I finally get a chance to catch my breath.

BTW, I finally got the Aloha Friday post up and added your link. Thank you for participating!

I don't usually - I'm usually happy to get back to 'normal'. Plus, we have my little one's birthday at the end of January to look forward to as well. I think I get more of a February blah thing going on... :)

Christmas is about traveling for us. Visiting family and they all live out of state. I'm always happy for January because then the traveling ends.

not really a blah, I just hate putting all my christmas deco's away. but while I do, I normally am cleaning the house and I get things nice and tidy ,and that actually makes me feel good??! does that even make sense?
