Hi everyone...Yes I took this picture. We had lived in our new neighborhood in MIssouri for about 3 weeks. THis huge storm rolled in from Kansas/Oklahoma. I started snapping pictures and then got the kids in the basement. I thought for sure one of those clouds was going to come down and become a tornado. When I looked at the pictures later I could not believe how well they came out!! It was so wild that day!! Thanks for looking at my WW!!
I don't know if I can say it is pretty--I know what comes out of those--but it is breathtaking and awe-inspiring. And we should be coming up on the season soon.
Great picture. I can feel the weather just looking at it.
That is the coolest picture of cloude EVER!!! I'll have to show my daughter. They are studying them and she is always looking to see what kind of clouds are out that day. What an amazing picture!
Hi - just visiting from An Island Life. I have marked you as a favorite - love you site - I'll be back. I live in Texas now, but did live in Oklahoma for 8 years....and I know about the tornados! I love this picture and I seriously cannot believe those clouds are real. Beautiful picture! So cool.
I am a GRITS Girl (Girls raised in the South). I was born in Alabama and lived there up until May of 2005. I am a mom to four wonderful Children, three girls ages 16, 13, 8 and one boy age 11. I am an only child and my husband is the oldest of eight children. When we got married everyone asked about kids when we were having them and how many. The usual bombardment of questions during the first month of marriage. I knew I wanted more than one and my husband knew we wanted less than 8. So we compromised and had 4 children. I of course had no idea what I was getting my self into. I had no concept of the " she touched me ...No she touched me" . "She is looking at me funny." How did I survive being an only child???:-)

Phenomenal. Very scary, too, I imagine, to have ridden the day out.
Until I looked at comments, I just figured that was a photo that had been tampered with to make it look different. This is truly amazing.
