I'm Going to New York!! Sticky Post

****************Sticky Post*******************
***Scroll down for more recent posts!**************

I am so excited!! I am going on a Girls weekend in New York. No kids!! No husbands!! Just us girls!! I am meeting my friends Jennifer & Caroline (from Alabama) and Kim (North Carolina). We are all flying in and staying at Jennifer's Aunts apartment. My friend Jennifer is the organizer ( I mean my OCD friend...just kidding JC) in the bunch and she already has lots for us to do. We are going to see Hairspray the musical and have lunch at Tavern on the Green. We are slowly researching and finding new places to go and see. I know we want to head over to Chinatown, go to the World Trade Center memorial and maybe take the Ferry so we can see the Statue of Liberty up close. I know all you Bloggers/Lurkers have probably visited or maybe know of some neat things to do in New York. So if your reading this please post a comment of some other things we can do!! Thanks!! I will keep you updated on our plans!

Did I tell you that I am flying in a day earlier than J, C & K? My cousin Rebecca lives there and she is picking me up at the airport and I get to stay at her place and meet her fiance Sean!! Can't wait to meet the new member of the family!! Their wedding is in June so I will hopefully be flying back up to NY then!!

****Update****
Going to Serendipity for dinner on Friday night
Going to The View for dinner on Saturday night

I am so jealous. I would love to go to NY. I went when I was 16, WITH my GRANDPARENTS. Not really the kind of trip you want to make with older people. Did that sound bad? I know you'll have a blast. I loved SOHO when I went. Great shopping. Ya'll have fun!

Lucky! I hope you have a blast, you deserve it. Make sure to take tons of pictures, and come back and tell us all about it!

Have fun!!!

WHAT FUN! I have only been to NYC once and I have wanted to go back ever since! The Martha Stewart trial was going on when I was there and a snowstorm had hit the city so it was a bit chaotic, but it was still such a great city to experience. Have a ball with your girly friends!!

After dinner at Tavern, you must take a carriage ride in Central Park. It's fabulous at night!

Also, while at Serendipity 3 (yes, it's the third, believe it or not!) order the Frrrozen Hot Chocolate. It is HEAVEN. It's basically a hot chocolate milkshake and it comes in a mug the size of your head. (which, in my case, is pretty durn big)

If you want to rock out one night, head to Cafe Wha?! in the village. Hands down the best live music I've had the pleasure of seeing - and their pineapple bombs (if you are apt to "hitin' the sauce" which I KNOW you are!) are fantastic.

ENJOY!!! And give that city a big kiss for me. I miss it terrible. :(

Sounds like a great trip!!! Can't wait to hear all about it! We went a few weeks ago too. It is such a great city.

You will really like Serendipity. We went there a few years ago and the Frozen Hot Chocolate is amazing. Why not ice skate in central park (Wollman Rink, I think it is called) too? Just another suggestion. Have a wonderful time.

Can I suggest a walk in Central Park??? It was the best when I went (although I went in June which is slightly different from our windy Marches!) Enjoy your trip!
