If you have been in the bloggy world long enough you have prob heard the phrase MIRL (Met in Real Life) Well I have the most amazing story to share with all yall!
As most of you know I am on vacation in my home state of Alabama. On my way to the beach I stopped off in my old town to stay with Jen.
Ok let me back track a bit and tell you this so you can understand the MIRL. I started bloggin back in September. I was reading some blogs and came across one that mentioned they liked the Auburn tigers. so I left a comment and told her that my daughter loved Auburn and wanted to go to school there...in about 7 years. We started leaving comments for each other and discovered that she lived in the town that I had just moved from. I had lived there for 10 years and our paths had never crossed. She was also the winner of my very first Toile Notecard giveaway.
Now back to my MIRL story. Jen and I were driving around with all the kids looking at all the new stores that had opened since I had left. There was a new Target store that was scheduled to open in two days so we drove by and noticed that people were coming out with their buggies and packages. So Jen slowed down so we could ask the lady coming out was the store open to the public. The lady said yes and I did a double take because she looked familiar. Then one of her friends yelled out her name and I knew it had to be Kim from Reformed Grits. I said are you Kim and she said yes looking a bit confused since she had no idea who I was. I told her who I was and we both could not believe it!!! We talked for a bit and I of course had to take a picture.
It is just amazing how things like this happen. She wrote a post about it here on her blog.

Random at best! Who know? We must have had a divine appointment! It really was soo cool meeting you and your sweet kids.
I really wish I had showered and worn makeup and decent clothes that day! That'll teach me! ;-)
What are the chances of that happening? Amazing!
How cool is that!! What a small world we live in.
Wow, that's amazing! I don't know that I'd even recognize anyone in real life. I haven't been blogging for very long though. I'm still impressed.
That is so cool--I want that to happen to me, because that had to be so fun. I can't remember if I knew you were from Missouri or not--I'm from there--grew up in southeast missouri. Anyway, thanks for sharing the story.
That is SO cool! What a fun day!
WOW! How very cool. I hope no one recognizes me out and about b/c I am not as photogenic as the two of you!!
