In most of my pictures from NYC I am wearing a very cute Messenger bag!! I came across the pattern from Amy Butler's Website. She designs fabric and patterns for cute bags. I knew when I saw it that I had to make one. I bought the fabric, zippers, lining and magnetic closure. I was kind of overwhelmed with the whole zipper thing and all the cool pockets. I make diaper bags with closures and they have pockets but this was a whole new ball game for me. I laid everything out and attempted to read the pattern. After a good bit of time passed I called my Aunt Laura in New Hampshire and asked could I mail her everything and would she mind putting it all together for me?? And by the way could she mail it back to me in 6 days???
Aunt Laura saves the day. She had it back to me 4 days before I left on my trip!! It had so many pockets and zipper pouches!! It was great to have in NYC and then on our family trip to Dallas!

cute bag too, I finally have a design all laid out for my new bag too I will take pics of it when I finish! I like the one I made for my mom but this one is going to be a bit different!
Really cute and I love all the pockets. Everything seems to get lost in my purse/bag!!!
