Birthday Party Ideas

Having four children we have lots of birthday parties to plan during the year. Hayden our only boy is easy. Just sign him up for Chucky Cheese or Laser Tag and he is set. Katherine and Rebecca are a different story. The last several years they have chosen to have some girls over and to make a craft and watch movies. This is fun for me since I get to let my creative juices flow. I thought I would share with you some of the things we have done in the past.

1. We have made lip gloss, lotion and body glitter and the kids took them home in a bag they decorated.
2. We made homemade soap and added cool things to it like glitter and then made homemade pizza. I bought aprons and put ribbon on them and monogrammed their names.
3. I had canvases already done with the girls names on them. The girls painted them and then they picked out their favorite ribbon and we used that to hang them up.

Yesterday, was Rebecca's party at the Flip shop. This is the local gymnastics place that has mats, trampolines beams and huge pit to jump in. As a take home goodie we handed out CD's with Rebecca's favorite songs at the moment. I downloaded the songs and then burned them to CD's. I then printed out custom CD stickers that said "Thank you for Coming to my Party" and Rebecca's Party Music. I also listed the 10 songs at the bottom. These were a huge hit!! We had the music playing during the party so the kids were excited that they got to take the music home with them.

I thought I would share some of these ideas in case you have a party coming up!!

Those are AWESOME!! And creative. WOW. I am so impressed. I always try and come up with some different things to do. With 4 I find it hard to think of new things each year. These are GREAT ideas though. I might have to "steal" a couple.

Thanks for the happy! The birthdays fly by way to fast now.
I love your blog. I have tried to put a header on mine 2 or 3 times, but I am not computer literate enough to figure it out.
I can't believe how big your kids have gotten. They are still just as precious as they were before you moved away.
Great party ideas. I will have to remember them as Ana Claire gets older. ;)
