I have read lots of Memes and always wondered how in the heck you got selected to do one. Well I got tagged by Domestic Goddess and so here is my first Meme!!

According to the rules…Each player of this game starts with the “6 weird things about you”. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state this rule clearly. Six Weird Things about Me
1. In the winter I put a heating pad in my bed and turn it on way before bedtime so that when I get in my bed is nice and toasty.
2. I hate latex balloons!! I mean when people rub them and make them squeak Or if they pop. I am always afraid they might put an eye out!!
3. I like to be on time...My family makes fun of me that I get to places at least 30 minutes before every event. I think its more like 15 minutes...but they are right. I don't like to be late. ( I get that from my MOM!!)
4. I can tie a cherry stem in my mouth. My kids think I am the coolest.
5. Since having children I am kind of a little weird about our Christmas card picture. I think about it all year long and plan what the perfect pose, setting, etc. I have these visions of the perfect Christmas picture. You can read about our adventure this year in attempting to take that picture here. And you can see some of our past pictures here. My husband and my mother enjoy the spectacle of this event.
6. I have to have it pitch black when I go to sleep. I have paper thin eyelids. That little blinking light on the printer..that needs to be off. The luminous buttons on the security system..needs to be covered. The TV..needs to be off. My husbands laptop...needs to be off. I know I am weird!!!

I SO agree with #6! In fact, I have my alarm clock under my bed because I can't stand to have the time shining in my face. And our bedrooms are in the basement. Love the dark!
I've done this meme before, so I'll dig it up and then post it. But it will have to be post-surgery. I need to be at the hospital at 6:00AM and I'm still up blogging - and wide awake - at 10:25. YIKES!!
I am the same way about light! My curtains have a very tiny slit between them and that is why I am up at the crack of dawn reading blogs! I was tagged by Mrs. Grits and my wierdness is up too.
I hate being late too. It makes me crazy!
I am so with you on #6. My hubby jokes with me that I need to sleep in a sensory deprivation chamber.
